MEN OF TUMBLR I LOVE YOU
This just made my night. Thank you!!!!!!
Song of the day: HAPPY!
I have been invited to participate in a college edition of this music video for a project on the 12th. It’s been exciting and now I must wait to see if I was featured! If I am, I’ll post the final video here next Wednesday. :D In the meantime, here’s the original video.
I think I’m psychic. Because a lot of my predictions end up being correct.
Loki Month Final Prompt: Free For All
And last but not least, a couple pictures of my Loki cosplay. A mix of Lady Loki plus the Avengers created this result, and I was surprised at how popular my cosplay was! People really adored it. Some of the materials involved include fabric paint and crafter’s foam for the armor, a wooden rod, crafter’s foam, matte board, paint, and LOTS OF TAPE for the scepter, and varying fabrics for the rest of the costume, including green velvet for the (heavy) cape. I tried making a headpiece with horns, but the horns were too heavy and could not attach, so I need to learn how to make a proper headpiece (if anybody here has a good one, please let me know and show me how you made it).
Green eyeshadow with gold eyeliner completed everything, topping it off with red lipstick as Lady Loki would wear, and a gold headband in place of a horned headpiece.
Loki Month Prompt: Alternate Universe
I think my favourite AU Loki would be if he remained a prince of Jotunheim, what he’d look like, how different he may be from the Loki we know. Here he looks rather friendly, and peaceful. I’ve always loved the thought and I’m sure plenty of other girls do, too.
I never got the time to color it (and ew it’s full of eraser shavings ugh. This is why I need to use a kneaded eraser more often). Thing is, digital art takes me WEEKS to work on, and I just don’t have time for an event like this to do it that way. But I will color this soon (in both traditional and digital forms). Hoping for another Loki Month next February! I’ll have more (and better) art! ^^
Loki Moth Prompt: Free For All
Because we all know Loki needs a hug. XD And who has more Loki feels than Tom himself? :3
David Wojnarowicz wore this jacket in 1988, just 4 years before he’d ultimately die from AIDS. Sadly, just a few years ago some of his artistic work was censored at the Smithsonian. People in power are still content to try and erase his history and the continued struggles of people with AIDS
everyone everywhere please please please reblog this important artist.
